What data we collect
We may capture photographs and video recordings in which you appear.
Purposes
Images and recordings are used for documenting the event, promoting future events, sharing on our website, and social media.
Legal basis
We rely on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR as the legal basis for taking and using images, specifically our interest in documenting and promoting our events.
Who may receive the data
Images may be shared with:
• Our staff and communications teams
• Media outlets
• Online audiences through our website and social media channels
Retention period
We retain images for promotional and archival purposes without a fixed deletion period, keeping them as long as they remain relevant to our activities.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
• Access your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data in certain circumstances
• Object to processing, including our use of your image for promotional purposes
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g. the Data Protection Authority in your country). In Austria, the supervisory authority is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, www.dsb.gv.at).

Opting out of photography/filming
If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform a member of staff at the event, or avoid designated filming areas where indicated. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
